Save the Sardoodledom for Your Mama

March 24, 2008 by Carolyn Bahm

I’m SO glad I read blogs like Feministing,** because even the off-topic postings are cool. Today, I learn a spectacularly funny new word … Sardoodledom.* This sweet video features the word flexing all its alphabetical musculature in a spelling bee, and the clever little speller will put a smile on your face. (I’d embed the vid here, but YouTube is being hinky for me today. Phooey.)

* Hint: If you just want to know what the word means, you can skip the video and just peek here.

** Correction: Oh, the shame of getting a source wrong. It’s at GIGGLESUGAR where I spotted this video, and it’s smack-dab on topic for that madcap site of the web’s funniest snippets. Sorry, Gigglesugar!

Stop just short of giving this much of yourself to your writing.

Note: I had to remove the embedded video and just include a link instead because of some formatting issues.
