Back from the Hospital

Sorry for my week-long blogging absence, but you wouldn’t have wanted me in my puny state earlier this week. You can read details at my other blog, but it was mostly a major kidney infection plus pneumonia that put me in the hospital from Saturday night to Thursday afternoon. I was sick from stem to stern, in other words.
More blogging later, and I’ll catch up on all my belated online correspondence over the next few days.

Thanks, Kevin and Jenz! I’m grateful to be feeling much, much better. My husband joked with my doctor when we were leaving the hospital, saying he was going to put me on double-duty housework right away to help me get some healthful exercise. She just rolled her eyes and laughed — she knows he babies me ridiculously.

Arache, Deimos, and Candy — thanks! I’m all clear to go back to work Monday and am feeling fine except for a lingering cough. Now if I can just remember all my workplace passwords after two weeks of being off!
