My inner nerd CANNOT. RESIST. THIS.

Click below to hear a slithery, hissy greeting for this site in Parseltongue*, from the Parselmouth Generator. :o )

“Welcome to DropsofBlood.com!”

That is so freaking COOL!!! I’m gonna have to try that, LOL.

Thanks for visiting my blog :)

  • Carolyn Bahm says:

Isn’t it cool? Thanks for stopping by!

  • Michelle says:

Wow, it was much longer than I expected! How cool! Love Harry, btw!

  • Carolyn Bahm says:

I thought it seemed long too! But I guess that’s like a lot of translations — it always SOUNDS like the translators are slipping in some of their own sly commentary. :o )

I’m holding out hope that we’ll see another Harry Potter book someday despite the publication of the official last book in the series. Maybe Rowling will capitulate. The will of the Muggle readership cannot be denied. :o P

FYI, have you tried Runemarks by Joanne Harris? It’s a new hardcover YA book too (a satisfyingly thick one, like the Harry Potter books) and I’m currently devouring it. Very different, but EXCELLENT if you love magical stories. You can hear an excerpt read by the author at this URL.

    Whoa! That’s really cool. :D

you have a nice blog here. A ton of info. I may have to check out some of these writing contests in your sidebar…

Hi, C-Squared! I do love gimmicky online Harry Potter do-dads like the Parselmouth Generator. :o )

Good luck with the writing contests, and thanks for stopping by!

  • Wow, how spooky is that! Found myself shuddering a little after hearing that… Real glad I don’t know anyone who speaks parseltongue, too creepy for me.

I find I am a big fan of Luna Lovegood though. In fact, just posted about her radish earrings if you want to take a look.

I will have to check out Runemarks, sounds promising… Feeling a little Harry Potter withdrawal now that the series is over.

I know, I know! Imagine me sitting at home in the wee hours of the night, surfing around for cool things, and listening to this uber-creepiness. Fab, eh?

Thanks for visiting! I did check out your blog and left some sincere compliments and a groaner veggie-based pun or two. :o )

  • Thanks Carolyn for visiting my site and leafing such a funny comment. Laughed right out loud! Did feel a little radicchio though for laughing but was peased that someone would carrot as much as you to come leaf a comment. (See I can veggie-pun right along side ya! :-)
