She Ain’t Heavy, She’s My Bookie

Wowee, I have got such a beautiful big stack of books gleaming at me in my living room that I just want to spread them out and roll in them! Yes, author Lynn Viehl’s big box-o’-books landed on my steps today like the overflowing bundle of of joy it is.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? Look at the bounty — 24 pounds of it. That’s hours and days of reading joy — books, magazines, newspaper articles, and even Great Expectations on CD, read by (wait for it) House. I can barely slap my older daughter’s and mother’s hands away from the stacks. Oh, what the heck. There’s plenty to share.
